Areas of Practice

Coaching

Executives and emerging leaders seek out coaching when they are honing their leadership abilities, preparing for a career transition, or managing through organizational challenges.

Coaching work begins by elucidating the client’s core values and using those values to identify specific objectives that lay the foundation for an action plan. The duration and frequency of a coaching engagement varies-- the schedule is tailored to each client’s availability and specific goals-- but typically sessions take place weekly for six to nine months.

The coach serves as a trusted, confidential partner who provides valuable insight and necessary support in navigating the challenges of being at the highest levels of leadership.

Clients emerge from coaching with the skills and self-awareness to enable sustainable growth in themselves and their organizations.

Advising

Clients seek advising when they are working through organizational change or another shift in the business environment that calls for increased performance from a leadership team.

Typically advising includes an up-front intensive session that lasts for two to three work days over a two-week period. During this time, the advisor works with key members in the organization to identify values, strengths and challenges. This initial work lays the foundation for a set of shared objectives that the team adopts. Advising then takes place weekly during team meetings over six to twelve months, during which time new team habits are established and practiced. The advisor meets individually with team members as needed throughout the process to address specific needs and ensure continued progress.

At the end of the advising relationship, organizations have the tools they need-- not just to succeed-- but to thrive: they have identified their strengths, overcome business challenges (or are enacting a concrete plan to surmount them), and fine-tuned team dynamics. Working relationships are healthy and productive. Teams are operating at a high level of performance and exceeding their objectives.

Fees

After a complimentary discovery session and initial discussions to establish goals for working together, a fee package and contract are developed to make the scope of work clear.
