Jessica Waters Davis, CPCC
Jessica Waters Davis is a coach, advisor, consultant and founder of her own practice Jessica Waters Davis, Executive Coaching. Jessica is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) with over twenty years of experience as a business leader. She has worked in a wide range of organizations from small start-ups to large multibillion-dollar public companies with nearly 23,000 employees.
Before starting her practice Jessica was a Director of Product Marketing at Adobe for over fourteen years. She led a team that launched new products and integrated acquisitions, helping to build a successful one billion-dollar-plus business. Jessica’s experience working with executive teams and boards of directors has shaped her thinking about leadership and high-performing teams. Jessica’s colleagues and clients describe her as an observant, decisive, inquisitive leader with a deep understanding of people and their motivations.
A San Francisco Bay Area native raised by New York City parents, Jessica brings a bi-coastal sensibility to her coaching practice; she has the flexibility and openness of a Californian with the practicality and directness of a New Yorker. Having trained as a ballet dancer in her youth, Jessica is now an avid rock climber. Both activities are, in part, investigations of one key concept: balance. People often think of balance as a goal—as in, “achieving work-life balance”— but it is actually a practice. In climbing, one has to be constantly aware of their center of gravity and be able to leverage their core strength to make a precise move forward. This principle also applies to leadership.
In her coaching practice, Jessica guides her clients toward their core values and central strengths. She works with her clients to use those principles to direct every move they make.
Jessica lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two daughters, who hope to someday have a puppy.
